If you are driving from the city of Macas in Morona Santiago, head west on the E40 highway towards Cuenca. After approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, you will arrive at the intersection with the Hospital del Río and take a left turn onto the road leading to Azogues. Continue on this road for about 10 km until you reach the Amaru Zoológico Bioparque, which will be on your right side. Ensure to keep an eye out for the signage indicating the zoo.
