From Northeast Oriente, start your journey by heading towards the city of Ambato. Take the E35 highway southbound, following the signs for Ambato. Upon reaching Ambato, continue on the E35 until you reach the intersection with the E30 highway. Turn right onto E30, which will take you towards the town of Latacunga. Once you reach Latacunga, follow the signs to Parque Nacional Cotopaxi. The national park entrance is approximately 30 kilometers from Latacunga, and you will need to pay an entrance fee of around $10 per vehicle.
