Start your journey from the central plaza of Otavalo, known as Plaza de los Ponchos. Head southeast on Calle Bolívar towards Calle Sucre. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Roca. Turn left on Calle Roca and walk until you see the bus station on your right, known as Terminal Terrestre. Here, take a bus heading towards 'Mojandita' or 'Peguche'. The fare is typically around $0.50 to $1.00. The bus will drop you off at the entrance of Comunidad Mojandita. From there, follow the signs directing you to Waterfall Taxopamba, which is approximately a 30-minute walk uphill. The path is well-marked and will lead you through beautiful landscapes.

From the Otavalo bus terminal (Terminal Terrestre), board a bus heading to 'Mojandita' or 'Peguche'. Ensure you confirm with the driver or the attendant that they are stopping at the entrance to Comunidad Mojandita. The bus ride should take about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic and stops. Once you arrive at the Comunidad Mojandita, get off and follow the signs towards Waterfall Taxopamba. It's about a 30-minute walk from the bus stop, and the path is well marked.
