Getting There

Walking
From the central plaza of Otavalo (Plaza de los Ponchos), head east on Calle Bolívar. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Calle Sucre. Turn left onto Calle Sucre and follow it for another 500 meters until you see signs for Peguche Waterfall. The path is well-marked and will lead you directly to the entrance of the waterfall area.

From the central plaza of Otavalo, walk to the nearest bus stop (located near the market). Look for a bus heading to Peguche. The bus ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Peguche stop. From there, follow the signs for Peguche Waterfall, which is approximately a 10-minute walk uphill from the bus stop.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Otavalo. Start from the central plaza, heading east on Calle Bolívar. Continue until you reach Calle Sucre, then turn left and follow the road for about 1 kilometer. As you approach Peguche, keep an eye out for the signs leading to the waterfall. The bike ride should take around 30 minutes, depending on your speed.
