Take the exit and follow the signs toward El Reencuentro, which is about 8 kilometers from the junction. Be aware that some roads may be unpaved in this area, so a vehicle with good clearance is recommended.

  For public transportation, you can take a bus from Esmeraldas to Atacames. Buses frequently depart from the main terminal in Esmeraldas, and the fare is approximately $1.50.
