If you're traveling by car, start by heading southeast from your location in Northwest Coast. Depending on where you are, your first step is to get onto the E28 or E35 highway towards Quito. Once you reach Quito, follow the signs for E35 towards Ambato. After about 45 minutes on the E35, take the exit towards the Cotopaxi National Park. The park entrance is located approximately 10 kilometers off the main road. Be aware of the entrance fee, which is around $10 per vehicle.

To reach Parque Nacional Cotopaxi via public transportation, first take a bus from your location to Quito. Buses frequently depart from major bus terminals. Once you arrive in Quito, head to the Quitumbe bus terminal and take a bus to Latacunga. This journey will take about 1.5 hours.
