Take the E28 heading southeast towards the town of La Concordia. After about 35 kilometers, you will see signs for Volcán. Follow the signs for the last 10 kilometers, which will lead you directly to Volcán Ecuador. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition for the journey, as some roads may be less maintained.

  To reach Volcán Ecuador using public transportation, start by taking a bus from Esmeraldas to Atacames. Buses leave frequently from the main terminal and the fare is usually around $1. After arriving in Atacames, catch a bus heading to La Concordia. This trip takes approximately 1.5 hours and costs around $2. Once in La Concordia, you can find local transport options such as taxis or shared vans that will take you directly to Volcán. The fare for the shared van is about $1.5 to $2, and the ride takes around 30 minutes.
