Public Bus
From the center of Otavalo, walk to the main bus terminal, Terminal Terrestre Otavalo, located at Calle Sucre and Avenida 31 de Octubre. Look for buses heading to Cayambe. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Cayambe, get off at the main bus stop. From there, you can either take a taxi or walk approximately 1.5 kilometers to Criadero de venados, which is located at 2R5J+45J, Troncal de la Sierra.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Otavalo to Criadero de venados. Simply hail a taxi or request one through a local taxi service. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to 2R5J+45J, Troncal de la Sierra in Cayambe.
Walking
For the more adventurous, if you are already in Cayambe after taking a bus from Otavalo, you can walk to Criadero de venados. From the main bus stop in Cayambe, head south on Avenida Eloy Alfaro, then turn right onto Troncal de la Sierra. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the location.
