Walking
Start from the central plaza of Otavalo, known as Plaza de los Ponchos. Head northwest on Calle Roca, continuing straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida 31 de Octubre. Turn left onto Avenida 31 de Octubre and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass various local shops and eateries on your way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Peguche, as you will eventually need to turn right onto a smaller road leading towards the hills. After about 200 meters on this smaller road, look for a trail that leads uphill towards Inti Watana - Calendario Solar. The site is located a short walk up this trail, and you should be able to see it clearly marked.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops near Plaza de los Ponchos. Start by heading northwest on Calle Roca and then take a left onto Avenida 31 de Octubre. Continue cycling straight for about 1 kilometer. Be cautious as the road can be busy, but there are bike lanes available. After reaching the intersection where you need to turn off to Peguche, look for the same smaller road mentioned in the walking directions. Cycle up this road for about 200 meters, then follow the trail leading uphill to reach Inti Watana - Calendario Solar.

Public Transport
From Plaza de los Ponchos, walk to the nearby bus terminal located on Avenida 31 de Octubre. Look for a bus heading towards Peguche; they run quite frequently. The bus ride will take about 15-20 minutes. Inform the bus driver that you are going to Inti Watana - Calendario Solar, and they will let you know when to get off. Once you arrive in Peguche, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the site. Just head uphill from the bus stop, following any signs you see for Inti Watana.
