Walking
From the center of Otavalo, head east on Avenida 31 de Octubre towards Calle Sucre. Continue straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida Simon Bolivar. Turn left on Avenida Simon Bolivar and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass by local shops and the famous Otavalo Market. As you approach the outskirts of the city, look for signs pointing towards Peguche Waterfall. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to the waterfall area.
Bus
From the Otavalo bus terminal, take a local bus that is heading towards Peguche. The buses are frequent and will only cost a small fare. Inform the driver that you wish to visit the Peguche Waterfall. The bus ride will take around 15 to 20 minutes. Get off at the bus stop near the entrance to the waterfall. From there, it's a short walk to the entrance where you can enjoy the scenic views.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from the center of Otavalo. Simply find a taxi stand or ask your hotel to call one for you. The ride to Peguche Waterfall will take about 10 to 15 minutes, and you should expect to pay a reasonable fare. Make sure to communicate that you want to go to 'Cascada de Peguche.' The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance.
