From the central plaza in Otavalo, head northeast towards Calle Sucre. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida 31 de Octubre. Turn left onto Avenida 31 de Octubre. Walk for about 1 kilometer until you reach the bus terminal (Terminal Terrestre de Otavalo).

At the bus terminal, purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Ibarra. Buses leave frequently, approximately every 15-30 minutes. The journey to Ibarra takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ibarra bus terminal, disembark.

After exiting the bus, head west on Avenida 24 de Mayo. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenida 17 de Julio. Turn right onto Avenida 17 de Julio and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Mirador San Miguel Arcangel.
