From the main bus terminal in Otavalo, take a bus heading to Cotacachi. The buses are frequent, departing every 15-30 minutes. After approximately 30 minutes, ask the bus driver or conductor to drop you off at the stop for Huasipungo. Once you arrive at Huasipungo, you will see a small sign indicating the direction to Pucará de Rumicucho. Walk along the dirt road for about 15-20 minutes, following the signs and local directions. The ruins should be visible on a hill to your left as you approach.
