    From the center of Puyo, head north on Calle Loja for approximately 300 meters until you reach Calle Tungurahua. Turn right onto Calle Tungurahua and follow the road. Continue until you reach the footbridge over the Puyo River, near the El Jardín hotel. Cross the bridge and continue for about 300 meters along the Paseo Turístico del Río Puyo to the entrance of Parque Etnobotánico Omaere, located just before the Puente Colgante (hanging bridge). There are no costs associated with walking to the park.
