    Getting There

    Taxi/Car

    From Puyo, take a taxi or drive towards Mera. Once in Mera, follow the road to Colonia 24 de Mayo. The journey from Mera to the caves is approximately 30 minutes on a secondary road. If you don't have your own vehicle, you can rent a pickup truck in the central park of Mera. A round trip will cost about $20.

    Walking

    From the parking area, follow the marked trail to the cave entrance. The hike to the caves involves some walking through the jungle, so wear appropriate footwear. The trail can be slippery and muddy, especially after rain.
