From the main pier in Puerto Ayora, head east along Avenida Charles Darwin for approximately 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Calle Marchena. Turn left onto Calle Marchena and continue straight for about 200 meters. Arena Negra is located on your right at the intersection of Marchena and Juan León Mera. Look for the hotel sign.

To reach Arena Negra from Baltra Airport, begin by taking the airport bus to the Itabaca Channel for $5. After crossing the channel via ferry ($1-$2 per person) , you can take a taxi from the Santa Cruz side of the channel to Puerto Ayora for $25-$30. Inform the taxi driver that you wish to go to Arena Negra, located at the intersection of Marchena and Juan León Mera. The journey from the channel to the hotel takes approximately 45 minutes.
