To reach Captain Max B&B from Baltra Airport, first take the 'Lobito' bus from the airport to the Itabaca Channel for $5. Then, cross the channel via ferry for $1. On Santa Cruz Island, take a public bus to Puerto Ayora for $5, which drops you off near San Francisco Park. From there, Captain Max B&B is a short walk. Alternatively, a taxi from the Itabaca Channel to Puerto Ayora costs $25-$30. The bus to Puerto Ayora will take approximately 45 minutes. A taxi will also take approximately 45 minutes.
Inter-Island Ferry
If arriving by ferry from another island (Isabela, San Cristobal, or Floreana), you'll arrive at the main pier in Puerto Ayora. From there, Captain Max B&B is a short walk inland. Inter-island ferry tickets cost around $35 per person. A water taxi from the ferry to the pier costs $1.50.
