From the main dock in Puerto Ayora, head east along the waterfront path. Continue walking until you reach Avenida Charles Darwin (approximately 10-15 minutes). Turn right and walk for 5-10 minutes; the Flightless Cormorant Hostel will be on your left. A short water taxi ride from a nearby beach will drop you off at the main dock. From there, follow the directions above.
Public Transport
From Baltra Airport, take the Lobitos bus to the Itabaca Channel ($5). Cross the channel via ferry ($1-$2). On Santa Cruz Island, take a public bus from the channel to Puerto Ayora ($5), which will drop you off near the port. From there, walk east along the waterfront and follow the walking directions above.
Taxi
From Baltra Airport, take the Lobitos bus to the Itabaca Channel ($5). Cross the channel via ferry ($1-$2). On Santa Cruz Island, a taxi from the Itabaca Channel to Puerto Ayora costs $25-$30 and can accommodate up to 4 passengers. Ask the driver to take you to Avenida Charles Darwin.
