Walking

Lava House Galapagos is located on Roberto Schiess y 18 de Febrero, a short walk from the main avenue Charles Darwin and Pelican Bay in Puerto Ayora. From the main dock, head inland and follow the street, turning right on 18 de Febrero. The hostel is a few blocks down on the left. Taxis within town have a fixed cost of $1.25.
Public Transport

If arriving from Baltra Airport (GPS), take the Lobito bus from the airport to the Itabaca Channel ($5 per person). Cross the channel via ferry ($1-$2 per person). On Santa Cruz Island, take a public bus from the Itabaca Channel to Puerto Ayora ($5 per person). The bus will drop you off near the main dock, from where you can walk to Lava House Galapagos.
Taxi

If arriving from Baltra Airport (GPS), a taxi from the Itabaca Channel to Puerto Ayora costs $25-$30 and can accommodate up to four passengers. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Taxis are white pickup trucks. From the main dock in Puerto Ayora, a taxi to Lava House Galapagos will cost $1.25.
