This family-run inn, born from the vision of Maria Edith, provides a welcoming atmosphere and personalized service. Founded in 1988, Maria Edith initially moved to Puerto Ayora to open a Social Security Inspection office. Over time, her dedication to the community led her to expand medical services and establish the Galapagos Pioneers Association for senior citizens. Her dream was to create a hotel where she could offer exceptional service to both local and international travelers. Today, Maidith Galapagos Inn is managed by her son, Juan Carlos, who brings decades of experience in the tourism industry to ensure every guest feels at home. The inn features comfortable, air-conditioned rooms with private bathrooms, some offering garden or pool views. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a swimming pool, free Wi-Fi, and a daily American breakfast. The inn is conveniently located within walking distance of the Charles Darwin Research Station, the Santa Cruz Fish Market, and Playa de la Estacion.
