From the center of La Mariscal, head south on Avenida 6 de Diciembre. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenida Eloy Alfaro. Turn left onto Avenida Eloy Alfaro and continue for another 500 meters. You will see the entrance to Quito Botanical Gardens on your right, located inside Parque Metropolitano La Carolina. The total walking distance is approximately 2 kilometers and should take around 25-30 minutes.

From La Mariscal, walk to the nearest bus stop on Avenida 6 de Diciembre. Take the 'Trolebus' which is a rapid transit bus service. Board the Trolebus heading towards 'La Ofelia' and get off at the 'El Ejido' stop. From there, walk east for about 500 meters to reach the Quito Botanical Gardens.
