4 Day Private Tour From Volcanoes route to the Amazon Rainforest
A Wonderful Way to Explore Ecuador
This year, my husband and I were determined to travel to South America, but we didn't have much leave to spend on a large trip. With less than a week, we wanted to pack in as much as possible. After searching several options in the northern portion of the country, Ecuador stood out, both for what it could offer in terms of ecosystems to explore and for the ease of getting there from the States. This trip did not disappoint! We were completely aw-struck by the beauty of Ecuador. The landscapes are like nothing you have ever seen in the States or Europe. Natural beauty and diversity are everywhere you look. The photos do not do it justice. And while it was a lot of driving, the relatively quick trip from the Andes into the complete jungle is both amazing and jarring! These two areas are so completely different from one another, adding so much richness to this trip! While we came for the natural beauty, we loved being immersed in local culture, which has survived the history of Spanish colonialism better than most places in the world. Ecuadorians were so friendly and warm, all so eager to ensure we had a good experience. Our driver, Erik, was sublime, and we felt we had the VIP experience with him the entire way. Live Ecuador did a great job organizing this trip, and Erik did a wonderful job explaining different options to us and keeping us on schedule. We were the only two people on our trip, and Erik took such care to ensure the trip was what we wanted it to be. He was also a conscientious driver. I get motion sick rather easily, and Ecuador has many winding roads and landscapes. Erik navigated these with relative ease, and I was rarely ill from it all. I did feel a bit of trepidation initially after booking with Live Ecuador, only because they did not have many reviews on their website for this particular trip. However, many of the more “polished” experiences didn’t seem to be run by locals at all, and I wanted to ensure we supported Ecuadorians as much as possible. This trip did not disappoint, and I am so glad we took the plunge. The Suchipakari lodge also has a good track record in how they treat their staff, and it also supports local wildlife rehabilitation. I am so glad we went with this company, in the end!

Immerse in Huaorani Culture | 3 Days Rainforest Tour from Quito
WAORANI TRIP REVIEW
I recently returned from a wonderful four-day tailor-made trip to the Ecuadorian rainforest organised by Live Ecuador in April 2026, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. As a solo traveller looking for something authentic and far from the usual tourist trails, Meloni Carrera at Live Ecuador perfectly understood what I was hoping for and designed a completely personalised itinerary just for me. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well organised. The trip was truly off-the-beaten-track and immersive. I stayed in a Waorani indigenous village, which gave me a rare and respectful insight into their culture and daily life. We did both day and night walks through the jungle, river trips, piranha fishing, and plenty of opportunities to engage in local activities. The wildlife encounters were unforgettable – playiong with villagers’ pet monkeys, a beautiful baby tapir, and many other wild animals in their natural habitat. I was lucky to have two fantastic guides. Carlos was an outstanding guide – knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about the jungle. Guami was not only a great companion but also an excellent cook who prepared delicious meals throughout the trip. Meloni was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout. After I accidentally lost my phone in the river during one of the excursions, she stepped in to assist and made sure everything was sorted. That level of personal care really stood out. Live Ecuador is a reliable, professional, and trustworthy travel agent specialising in genuine bespoke experiences. If you want a safe, personalised, and authentic trip in Ecuador – whether it’s the rainforest or elsewhere – you can confidently hand over the planning to them. They listen carefully and deliver exactly what you’re looking for. I would highly recommend Live Ecuador to anyone seeking a meaningful, well-organised adventure. Thank you Meloni, Carlos, Guami, and the whole team – it was a trip I’ll never forget!

4-Day All-Inclusive Amazon Adventure: Explore Napo's Rainforest
So many great experiences in such a short time!
My fiancee and I went on this before a wedding in Ecuador. We had an incredible time. Everything was well organized, from the taxi pickup to the activities. When weather impacted our designed schedule, our guide pivoted fluidly to similar activities or reordered to make everything work. You really cram a lot in to a short amount of time without anything feeling rushed or half done. The lodge was surprisingly beautiful. After a day of activities, being able to kick your feet up and have a beer overlooking an Amazon tributary, or exploring the beautiful flowers around the complex is such a great way to relax. Mosquitos were not nearly as big of a deal here as my other rainforest trip, which was also a welcomed surprise. Bring bug spray, but you won't be swarmed. This trip offers a range of diverse experiences, from wildlife spotting to educational jungle walks to meeting natives for lunch/dancing and more. 10/10. Already forwarded to some friends who are interested.
