If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Cuenca. Head north on Avenida 12 de Abril and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Avenida 1 de Mayo, then merge onto the E35 highway towards Quito. After approximately 3 hours of driving, exit onto Avenida 10 de Agosto in Quito. Follow this road until you reach Calle Cuenca. The San Francisco Convent will be on your left, adjacent to the San Francisco Church.

The 'Cooperativa de Transportes Loja' offers services from the Cuenca terminal to the Quitumbe terminal in Quito. The bus ride takes about 3-4 hours and costs approximately $10-$15. Once you arrive at Quitumbe, transfer to the Ecovia or a local bus heading to the Centro Histórico. Disembark at 'Parque Central' bus stop and walk towards Calle Cuenca where the convent is located.
