Floreana Island Full Day Tour Including Hiking and Snorkeling

Floreana was a must see for us!

Floreana was the best day for us because it was a destination since learning of the historic beginnings of the island. Only 150 people live on Floreana. We 1st saw the movie, Eden, and we were hooked on knowing more. The tour was incredible as you visit where the Whittmer family lived, farmed, raised a family, and then the murder mystery part of the history is fascinating. We got to talk with Margret Whittmer's granddaughter, Ingrid. She and her sister run Hotel Whitmer and a little bar. Ingrid made a mojito for me! She told us to get the book her grandmother wrote because it's a true account of what really happened. We can't wait to read it and re-watched the movie!

Good value Galapagos tour

We booked a 5 day 4 night tour on the Letty. The crew and guide (Wilfredo) were excellent and the itinerary was perfect. We saw dolphins, sharks, boobies, turtles, and an albatross. It was never boring. There were 11 others besides us. The food was tasty and imaginative. The Letty is an older boat and could use an upgrade (plumbing, cabins, etc) but the crew worked hard to make things enjoyable.

An absolute dream come true. Great agency, boat crew friendly, food wonderful and authentic, guide very knowledgeable. Saw flamingos, turtle, sea lions, a whale, and so much more. An adventure that will never be forgotten.
