Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Tena, head south on Avenida 15 de Noviembre towards Calle D. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Calle C. Turn left onto Calle C and keep walking for approximately 500 meters. You will see signs for amaZOOnico on your right. Follow the signs for another 300 meters until you reach the entrance of amaZOOnico.

  • Taxi

    If you're at a hotel or in the downtown area of Tena, you can take a taxi directly to amaZOOnico. Simply tell the driver 'amaZOOnico' and they will take you there. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to have cash in local currency (USD) to pay the driver.

  • Public Transport

    You can take a local bus heading towards Puerto Napo from the main bus terminal in Tena. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you reach the stop closest to amaZOOnico, get off and walk back for about 500 meters until you see the entrance on your left. Be sure to ask the bus driver to let you know when to get off.
