From the center of Tena, head towards the main bus terminal, which is located on Avenida 15 de Noviembre. Once you reach the terminal, ask about the buses or pickups heading to Pimpilala. Board a bus or pickup that is going to the Pimpilala area. The travel time is approximately 30-45 minutes, depending on road conditions. Disembark at the closest stop to the waterfall, usually identified by locals as 'Cascada Pimpillitu'. From there, follow the trail signs or ask locals for directions to the waterfall, which is about a 20-30 minute hike through the lush jungle. Be sure to wear sturdy shoes and carry water!

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Tena. Start from the central plaza and ride towards Avenida 15 de Noviembre. Continue on the road leading to Pimpilala.
