Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Tena, the capital of Napo Province. Head south on the E20 road for approximately 25 kilometers (about 30 minutes). You will pass through the towns of Baeza and Archidona. Continue on the E20 until you reach the intersection with the road to Puerto Napo. Turn left onto the road that leads to Puerto Napo. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the coordinates X62R+HGV, Puerto Napo, where Comunidad Pantanal is located. Make sure to have a GPS or map app ready as the final stretch can be less marked.
Public Transportation
To reach Comunidad Pantanal using public transportation, take a bus from Tena to Puerto Napo. Buses leave regularly from the Tena bus terminal. The journey will take about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive in Puerto Napo, you can take a taxi to the coordinates X62R+HGV. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your trip. The taxi ride should cost around $5 to $10 depending on negotiation and distance.
Walking
If you are already in Puerto Napo, you can walk to Comunidad Pantanal. Start from the main square in Puerto Napo and head towards the river. Follow the riverside path, which will take you towards the coordinates X62R+HGV. It is a scenic walk, but be cautious of your surroundings and ensure you have appropriate footwear as the terrain can be uneven.
