The Aga Khan Mausoleum is best approached by boat from Aswan. Several options exist for reaching the west bank of the Nile where the Mausoleum is located. From the Aswan Corniche, near the EgyptAir office, you can hire a private felucca or motorboat. Negotiate the price before setting off. Alternatively, take the public ferry to Elephantine Island and arrange for a separate boat to the Mausoleum from there.
