Taxi
From central Aswan, take a taxi to Philae Marina, about a 20-minute drive. Agree on a price beforehand, around 150 EGP one way. From the marina, hire a boat to reach Agilkia Island where the temple is located. The boat ride is approximately 10-15 minutes. Expect to pay around 400 EGP for a return trip per boat, and haggle for a better price.
Public Transport
Take a local 'kabout' (pickup truck) from the taxi station to the boat landing near the Kiosk of Nectanbo. From there, walk north for about half a mile to reach the temple. At the marina, negotiate with local boat drivers for a ride to the island. The return-trip boat ride may cost around 100 EGP per person, but be prepared to negotiate.
