Getting There

Walking
From the main area of Nubian Village, start by heading towards the riverbank of the Nile. Follow the path that leads you to the water's edge, and look for a small dock area where you can find local feluccas (traditional sailboats). Once at the dock, ask a nearby boatman for a ride to Elephantine Island, where Animalia is located. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes and may cost you approximately 50-100 EGP, depending on the boatman and the time of day.

Felucca Ride
After you get on the felucca, enjoy the serene views of the Nile as the boatman takes you across. Make sure to tell him your destination is Animalia on Elephantine Island. When you arrive, you will see signs leading to the museum. The felucca ride is a unique experience and provides a lovely perspective of the surrounding landscape.

Walking
Once you disembark from the felucca, follow the path through the island towards the museum. The walk is quite pleasant, with beautiful scenery all around. It should take you around 5-10 minutes to reach Animalia from the docking point. Keep an eye out for directional signs or ask locals for guidance if needed.
