Public Transport
To reach Umm El Baragat via public transport, start by taking a microbus from Faiyum city to Atsa. Microbuses frequently depart from the central bus station. From central Beni Suef, head to the main bus station on El Mahrusa Street and look for buses heading towards Faiyum. The journey from Beni Suef will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. Inform the driver that you are going to Umm El Baragat, and they will let you know when to disembark at the nearest stop to Atsa. Once you arrive in Atsa, Umm El Baragat is located approximately 2 km from the bus stop. You can ask locals for directions.
Taxi
From Faiyum City, a taxi to Umm El Baragat will cost approximately 50-70 EGP and take around 45 minutes. From Atsa, you may need to catch a local taxi to the site. Make sure to confirm that the driver knows Umm El Baragat.
Car
If driving from Faiyum city, head south on the Faiyum-Atsa Road (Road 4). Continue for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the Monshaat El-Amir area. Look for signs pointing to Medinet Madi or use a GPS to navigate. There is a parking area near the site.
