I went with friends and we had a guide who was a comedian. Our guide Adel made us laugh all day. He had jokes about the pharaohs and the mummies. We started at Saqqara and he imitated Imhotep. At Memphis he made jokes about the sphinx's nose. At Dahshour he said the Bent Pyramid was built by a drunk engineer. We laughed the whole day. He was also informative but the fun was the highlight. We had a great lunch and he joined us. The car was comfortable and the driver was amused. We had a memorable day. Admission fee was 78 usd each. Length of visit was 8 hours. Atmosphere was hilarious and light. Crowd size was moderate. Staff were entertainers and Adel was a comic. Best for friends who need laughs. Yasser told us Adel was the funniest guide and he was right.

My wife took a break in the shade near Sakkara. She was tired from the heat. Our guide Samy made sure she had water and a seat. She rested and then continued. We visited Dahshur and saw the Bent Pyramid. Memphis had the alabaster Sphinx. The Giza pyramids were impressive. The day was long but she managed. The van was comfortable and had cold water. My son loved the military display at NMEC. He was fascinated by the weapons and the armor. Our guide Nasser told him about the ancient battles. The museum had many other artifacts like tools and jewelry. He was fascinated by the military history. The van was comfortable and had snacks for him.
