Public Transport

From Cairo, take Metro Line 2 to Giza station. From Giza station, take a microbus or taxi to the Giza Necropolis. The microbus will cost approximately 5-10 EGP. A taxi from Giza station will cost around 20-30 EGP and take about 15 minutes.

Taxis or ride-sharing services (Uber/Careem) are readily available in Cairo. A taxi ride from downtown Cairo to the Giza Necropolis typically takes 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. The fare is approximately 50-100 EGP.

Driving

If driving from Cairo, head southwest on Champollion Road towards El-Shaikh Marouf. Follow the Nile Corniche Road and Route 75M to El-Malek Fouad in Nazlet El-Semman. Then, continue along Abou Al Hool Al Seiahi to the Pyramids of Giza. Parking is available near the Great Pyramid entrance for a fee of approximately 20-50 EGP.
