To reach Saqqara via public transport, take a microbus from a main station in Cairo (e.g., Tahrir Square) to Giza. From Giza, transfer to a local minibus heading to Badrshein. Inform the driver you're going to Saqqara Necropolis. The minibus ride takes approximately 1-1.5 hours. In Badrshein, take a taxi or tuk-tuk for the final 10-15 minute stretch to the necropolis. Microbus and minibus fares are typically around 10-20 EGP. Tuk-tuk fare may range from 70-100 EGP.
