If you're driving from the center of Faiyum city, head southwest on Al-Salam Street towards El Giza Street. Continue on El Giza Street until you reach the intersection with Cairo-Faiyum Road (Route 1). Turn left onto Route 1 and follow the signs towards Al Faiyum Governorate. After about 15 kilometers, take the exit towards Jabal El Medawara. Follow the road signs, and keep an eye out for the mountain peak as you approach. There are no direct road signs for Jabal El Medawara, so use Google Maps for navigation, entering the coordinates 29.1764188, 30.3505917. Note that parking may be limited near the mountain base.
