Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Sakkala, head southeast on Sheraton Road towards the Red Sea. After approximately 600 meters, you will arrive at the intersection with the Corniche Road. Turn left onto Corniche Road and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several cafes and shops along the way. Keep an eye out for the local landmarks such as the Hurghada Marina on your right. Continue until you reach the lighthouse area, which is marked by iconic structures. Leuchtturm Rot (the Red Lighthouse) will be located on your left side, just before the beach area.

  • Public Transportation (Microbus)

    From Sakkala, you can take a microbus from the main road (Sheraton Road) heading towards the Old Town (El Dahar). Get off at the 'Lighthouse' stop, which is a common destination for locals. The fare is approximately 5 EGP (Egyptian Pounds). After getting off, walk back towards the sea for about 200 meters, and you will see Leuchtturm Rot directly ahead.
