Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the center of Damietta, start by heading to the main bus station, located at El-Gomhoreya Street. From the bus station, walk south on El-Gomhoreya Street until you reach the intersection with Ahmed Orabi Street. Turn left onto Ahmed Orabi Street and continue walking until you reach the end of the street, where you will find the local transport hub. Here, you can take a microbus or a local bus heading towards Ras El-Bar. The fare is usually around 5-10 EGP. Inform the driver you are going to Lesan Area, and they will drop you off at the nearest stop. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to Lesan Area; just follow the signs or ask locals for directions.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Damietta. Start your journey heading east towards the coastal road. Follow the road until you see signs for Ras El-Bar. The ride is approximately 10 km and will take about 30-45 minutes. Once you reach Ras El-Bar, continue along the coastal path until you arrive at Lesan Area. Enjoy the views of the Nile merging with the Mediterranean as you cycle.

• Public Transport

  From anywhere in Damietta, you can catch a local bus or microbus that goes to Ras El-Bar. Look for the buses that have 'Ras El-Bar' written on them. The buses frequently depart from the main bus station or from major streets. Once on the bus, it will take about 30 minutes to reach Ras El-Bar. After disembarking, ask locals for directions to Lesan Area, which is a short walk away.
