Ferry
From Luxor city center, head towards the Nile River. Look for the ferry station, which is usually located near the Luxor Temple or Corniche street. Purchase a ticket for a ferry to Al Qarnah. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes and offers beautiful views of the river and surrounding areas. Once you arrive at the Al Qarnah ferry terminal, you will be close to Amira's Island.
Walking
After disembarking from the ferry at Al Qarnah, exit the terminal and head towards the riverbank. Follow the path along the Nile, which should lead you towards Amira's Island. The island is visible from the riverbank, and it’s a short walk away, taking only about 10-15 minutes. Enjoy the scenic route as you approach your destination.
Local Boat Hire
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a local boat from the ferry terminal to take you directly to Amira's Island. Negotiate a price with the boatman before departing. The ride will be brief, around 5-10 minutes, and you will arrive directly at the island's landing area.
