Lotus Papyrus Luxor: A Cultural Oasis in Ancient Egypt

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Luxor Temple, head north on Corniche El Nile Street along the Nile River. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection at Mohaned Farid. Turn left onto Mohaned Farid Street, and you will find Lotus Papyrus Luxor on your right.

• Walking

  From the Luxor Museum, exit the museum and turn right onto Corniche El Nile Street. Walk north for about 1 kilometer, then take a left turn onto Mohaned Farid Street. Continue straight for approximately 500 meters, and Lotus Papyrus Luxor will be located on your right side.

• Horse Cart

  If you are near Luxor Temple, you can hire a horse cart. Ask the driver to take you to Mohaned Farid Street. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you can easily spot Lotus Papyrus Luxor along the street.

• Taxi (local)

  You can catch a local taxi from various points in Luxor. Simply tell the driver you want to go to 'Mohaned Farid' near the Lotus Papyrus Luxor. It is advisable to show them the address if they are unfamiliar. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes from central Luxor, and the fare should be negotiated beforehand.
