Getting there

Walking

From the center of Port Said, head towards the waterfront along Corniche Road. Continue along the waterfront until you reach the Port Said Bridge. Cross the bridge to get to Port Fouad. Once in Port Fouad, continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit at the roundabout, leading you towards Al-Gomhoria Street. Follow Al-Gomhoria Street for about 500 meters, then turn right onto 68MF+X4V road. Salt Mountain will be on your left.

Public Transport

From the main bus station in Port Said, take a local bus heading towards Port Fouad. Buses frequently depart from the city center. Inform the driver you are going to Salt Mountain, and they will drop you off at the closest stop. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) to the mountain. A short bus ride in Port Fouad costs around 2.50 EGP.

Taxi

Taxis are readily available in Port Said. A taxi ride from Port Said to Salt Mountain in Port Fouad will involve crossing the Suez Canal via a tunnel or bridge. The approximate cost for a short taxi trip within Port Said/Port Fouad is around 18-52 EGP. Be sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
