Once you reach Kharga, follow the signs to Dakhla Oasis, which is another 180 km southwest, taking approximately 2.5 hours. You will drive through beautiful desert landscapes and may encounter checkpoints, so keep your identification handy. Fuel stations are available along the route but ensure your tank is full before heading into the more remote areas.

    From Luxor, you can take a bus to Kharga Oasis. Buses are available at the Luxor Central Bus Station. The journey to Kharga takes about 4-5 hours and costs around 50 EGP. Once in Kharga, you will need to take a microbus or taxi to Dakhla Oasis, which is about 180 km away. The microbuses leave when full and will cost approximately 100 EGP.
