Car
Most visitors access the White Desert as part of a tour departing from Cairo or the Bahariya Oasis. The drive from Cairo to the Bahariya Oasis takes approximately 4-5 hours. From Bahariya, it's another 2-3 hours by 4x4 vehicle into the White Desert. These tours typically handle all transportation logistics. A taxi directly from Cairo to the White Desert is also an option, with a journey of around 7 hours. Expect to pay $40-55 for the taxi fare.

Entrance Fee
An entrance fee is required to visit the White Desert National Park. The fee is US$5 per person during the day. An additional fee of LE10 is required for overnight stays in the national park. There is also a US$5 fee per vehicle.
