From Acajutla, a taxi to Los Cóbanos is the most direct option. Negotiate the fare beforehand, but expect to pay around $10-$15 for the approximately 15-minute trip. Taxis are readily available in Acajutla.

Driving
From San Salvador, take the Pan-American Highway (CA-1) west towards Sonsonate. Then take the road that leads to Acajutla. Just 3 kilometers ahead, you will find the exit road to the beach Los Cóbanos, which is only 7 kilometers away. The drive is approximately 1.5-2 hours. Parking is available near the beach, with hourly rates around $1-$2. Tolls are not applicable on this route.
