Travel Guide to Portal Sagrera

Getting There

• Bus

  From the National Palace in downtown San Salvador, walk to the nearby bus terminal at Calle Arce. Look for a bus heading toward the neighborhood of San Benito or Santa Tecla. Ask the driver to drop you off at '2a Calle Oriente' which is close to your destination. Once you get off, walk east on 2a Calle Oriente for about 5 minutes. Portal Sagrera will be on your right at number 315.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from any central location in San Salvador. Simply tell the driver 'Portal Sagrera, 2a Calle Oriente #315'. The taxi ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure the taxi is registered and uses a meter or agree on a fare before starting your journey.

• Walking

  If you're in a central area like Plaza Libertad, you can walk to Portal Sagrera. Start by heading east on Calle Arce, then turn left on Avenida Independencia and continue straight until you reach '2a Calle Oriente'. Turn right on 2a Calle Oriente and continue walking for about 10-15 minutes. Portal Sagrera will be on your left at number 315.

• Bike

  For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from a nearby rental spot in San Salvador. Start from the Plaza Cívica and head east on Avenida España, then follow this avenue until it intersects with 2a Calle Oriente. Turn left and continue straight until you reach Portal Sagrera at number 315. This route is approximately 4 kilometers and should take around 15-20 minutes.
