Getting There

Walking
From the central market (Mercato) in Asmara, head south on Harnet Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Semaetat Street. Turn right onto Semaetat Street. Walk for about 15 minutes, and you will see the National Museum of Eritrea on your left. From there, continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the end of the street. Take the second exit onto Eritrea Street and walk for another 10-15 minutes. You will see the entrance to the Tank Graveyard on your right, just after passing a park.

If you are near the Cathedral of Asmara, exit the cathedral grounds and head east towards the main road (Harnet Avenue). Turn left onto Harnet Avenue and walk north for about 10 minutes. When you reach the intersection with Semaetat Street, turn left. Follow Semaetat Street for about 15 minutes. You will arrive at the Tank Graveyard located on your right side after passing the National Museum.
