Getting there

Walking

Starting from the center of Mendefera, head south toward the main road. Walk along the main road for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with the street leading to the south. Turn left at the intersection and continue straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will pass a few local shops and cafes along the way. After 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for ዝባን ዑና on your right. The park is located at VR58+37P, and you can enter through the main entrance.

Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the central square of Mendefera. Ride south on the main thoroughfare for about 500 meters. Once you reach the intersection, turn left and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating the entrance to ዝባን ዑና, which will be on your right. The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on your speed.

Public Transport

While public transport options may be limited, you can ask locals for shared taxis or minibuses heading toward the south of Mendefera. Get off at the stop closest to the main road intersection, then walk approximately 1 kilometer south along the road. Look for the sign for ዝባን ዑና, which will be on your right side. Confirm with the driver or locals if you are unsure about the stop.
