Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Kuressaare City Center, head east along Tallinna Street until you reach the intersection with Pikk Street. Turn left onto Pikk Street and continue straight until you reach the end of the street. At the T-junction, turn right onto Rüütli Street. Continue walking until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Garnisoni Street. Take the first exit onto Garnisoni Street. After about 200 meters, you will see Keskaja Elamuskeskus/Medieval Activity Centre/Archebald on your left at Garnisoni 24.

• Bicycle

  From the Kuressaare City Center, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops. Once you have your bike, head east on Tallinna Street. Continue on this road until you reach the intersection with Pikk Street, where you will turn left. Follow Pikk Street straight to the end and turn right onto Rüütli Street. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Garnisoni Street. The Medieval Activity Centre is about 200 meters down on your left at Garnisoni 24.

• Public Transport

  While Kuressaare is a small town and primarily walkable, you can take a local bus if available. Head to the local bus station in the city center. Check for routes that go towards Garnisoni Street or ask the staff for assistance. If you catch a bus that heads towards Garnisoni Street, get off at the closest stop, and walk approximately 5 minutes to Garnisoni 24, where you will find Keskaja Elamuskeskus/Medieval Activity Centre/Archebald.
