Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Lääne County and head towards Tallinn. Use Route E263 (Tallinn-Pärnu Road) for the most direct route. Follow signs for Tallinn and merge onto the E263. Once you reach Tallinn, take the exit towards 'Kesklinn' and continue towards the city center. After entering the city, follow the signs to the Patkuli Viewing Platform. You can park nearby at designated parking areas. Be mindful of parking fees, which may apply.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus from any major location in Lääne County to Tallinn. Check the schedule for buses heading to the 'Tallinna Bussijaam' (Tallinn Bus Station). Upon arrival, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Patkuli Viewing Platform. If walking, exit the bus station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs for 'Toompea Hill,' as the viewing platform is located on the hill. The walk is approximately 20-30 minutes. Alternatively, taxis are readily available at the bus station, which will take you directly to the viewing platform. Expect taxi fares to range between €5 to €10.

  If you are already in Tallinn's city center, the Patkuli Viewing Platform is within walking distance. Start at the Town Hall Square (Raekoja Plats) and head towards Toompea Hill. Follow the signs for 'Patkuli' or 'Toompea' as you climb the hill. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views as you ascend. The walk should take about 15-20 minutes. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as some areas may be steep.
