Public Bus
From Pärnu city center, head to the Pärnu Bus Station located at Akadeemia 4. Take bus number 8 towards Varbla. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Make sure to get off at the Helmküla stop. Once you disembark, walk back towards the main road (Varbla kirikumõisa tee) for about 500 meters. The Varbla Urbanuse kirik will be on your left.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Pärnu. Start from the city center and head towards Pärnu's coastal promenade. Follow the promenade until you reach the Pärnu River. Cross the river using the bridge towards the south. Continue cycling straight for about 10 km along the main road (Varbla kirikumõisa tee). Look for signs towards Helmküla. Varbla Urbanuse kirik will be on your left as you approach the village.
Walking
If you prefer walking, start from the Pärnu city center and head south on the main road towards Varbla. The distance is approximately 15 km, so be prepared for a long walk (around 3 hours). Follow the signs leading towards Varbla, and enjoy the scenic countryside along the way. Once in Helmküla, Varbla Urbanuse kirik will be located on your left at Varbla kirikumõisa tee.
