From Pärnu, head east on Route 4 (Tallinn-Pärnu-Ikla road). Continue on Route 4 for approximately 35 km until you reach the town of Tori. At Tori, take the exit onto Route 8 towards Viljandi. Follow Route 8 for about 30 km. Once you reach the town of Viljandi, continue on Route 5 heading towards the town of Karksi-Nuia. After approximately 10 km, look for signs indicating the direction to the Beaver Trail and turn left onto a local road leading to Tipu. The Beaver Trail is located in Tipu, Viljandi County. Parking is available near the trailhead.

From Pärnu, take a bus to Viljandi. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Buses run frequently from the Pärnu bus station.
