Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Rapla, head southeast on Tallinna Street (Tallinna tänav) towards the bus station. Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the bus station. From there, take a bus heading to Tallinn. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Tallinn, exit the bus at the 'Tallinn Bus Station' (Tallinna Bussijaam). After exiting, walk towards the tram stop located just outside the bus station. Take tram number 1 or 3 heading towards the city center (Kesklinn). After 4 stops, get off at 'Viru' stop. Once you exit the tram, you will see the Viru Gate directly ahead on Viru Street (Viru tänav).

    From Rapla center, make your way to the Rapla bus station. Take a bus that goes directly to Tallinn, which typically operates every hour. Once you arrive in Tallinn, look for the tram stop outside the bus station. Board tram number 1 or 3, both of which head towards the city center. After about 10 minutes, disembark at the 'Viru' tram stop. The Viru Gate is a short walk from the tram stop, just a few meters away on Viru Street.
